Warranty Information

Shower Expert provides a warranty on all qualifying workmanship and materials used in our shower repair and bathroom services.

Warranty Eligibility

Warranty coverage is confirmed following a professional inspection. To ensure the full benefit of your warranty, we assess:

• The condition of existing substrates and structural elements
• Any pre-existing conditions that may be present
• Proper maintenance and care of the repaired area
• Following the recommended cure times and post-service instructions
• Normal residential use of the area

Our inspection ensures your warranty is tailored to your specific situation, giving you the best possible coverage for your shower repair.

What Our Warranty Covers

• All workmanship performed by Shower Expert technicians
• MAPEI products applied during our service
• Waterproofing performance in treated areas
• Grout and silicone integrity under normal use

Warranty Scope

Your warranty covers the workmanship and materials we provide. For complete clarity, here are the specific areas covered:

• Defects in workmanship performed by Shower Expert technicians
• Failure of MAPEI products when applied correctly
• Waterproofing failures in treated areas (subject to conditions)
• Grout and silicone failure under normal use conditions

Items outside our warranty scope include structural movement, external water sources (such as roof leaks), normal wear and tear, and conditions present before our work began. Our inspection helps identify these factors upfront so you have complete clarity.

Insurance

Shower Expert is fully insured for your peace of mind. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including:

• Public Liability Insurance – Protection against property damage and personal injury

Certificates of Currency are available upon request. Our insurance coverage ensures that you are protected throughout the duration of our work at your property.

Products & Materials

Shower Expert uses genuine premium MAPEI products sourced from available suppliers. We do not claim to be an exclusive or authorised distributor.

Inspection & Quotes

All quotes provided by Shower Expert are based on a professional inspection of your shower or bathroom area. Our inspection process includes a visual assessment, identification of leak points, evaluation of substrate condition, and recommendation of repair vs. replacement options.

Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation. No same-day repairs. Payment is by bank transfer. Shower Expert does not provide plumbing services.

Cure Times & Post-Service Care

For suitable maintenance repairs, keep the shower unused for 7–14 days before the work and at least 24 hours afterwards, or longer where your quotation or product instructions require it.

Proper cure times are essential for the longevity of our work. After service completion, you must adhere to the following cure times:

• Silicone Sealants: 24 hours before water contact
• Epoxy Grout: 24 hours before full water immersion
• Waterproofing Membranes: As specified on product documentation (typically 3-7 days)

In most cases, showers are ready for full use 24 hours after work is completed. Specific cure time instructions are available with your quotation.

Failure to observe cure times may void warranty coverage. We will provide specific instructions for your particular service.

Maintenance Responsibilities

To maintain your warranty coverage and ensure the longevity of our work, regular maintenance is required:

• Clean shower surfaces regularly with pH-neutral cleaners
• Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning tools
• Inspect silicone seals periodically for signs of wear
• Address any leaks or issues promptly
• Ventilate the bathroom properly to reduce moisture buildup
