What happens at your inspection?

We assess grout and silicone condition, tile stability and visible signs of moisture damage around the shower and adjoining areas. The findings guide your quotation: maintenance where suitable, or rebuilding where needed. We explain the scope before work is booked.

Maintenance or a shower rebuild?

Suitable maintenance can include premium epoxy floor grouting, wall regrouting and full silicone replacement. Existing showers can often be repaired without removing tiles, but this depends on their condition. Failed waterproofing or an unsuitable structure may require a different approach; surface repairs cannot resolve every underlying fault.

We use genuine premium MAPEI products sourced from available suppliers. Old silicone is removed fully, and new grout is not applied over old grout.

Signs to look for

• Swollen skirting boards or peeling paint beside the shower.
• Damp flooring or carpet in an adjoining room.
• Cracked or missing grout, loose tiles or separating silicone.
• Persistent musty smells or recurring mould.

Can my shower be repaired without removing tiles?

In many suitable cases, yes. An inspection is needed to assess tile stability, the condition of the shower and the appropriate repair scope.

What warranty applies?

Suitable repairs carry a 5-year workmanship waterproof warranty for treated areas only, subject to Terms & Conditions. New tiling or new shower work may have up to 7 years of workmanship/materials coverage, as specified in your quotation.

How do I prepare?

The shower needs to remain unused for 7–14 days before repair and for at least 24 hours afterwards. Follow the timing in your quotation and booking instructions. There are no same-day repairs.
